Privacy policy

General information

This privacy policy is intended to inform users of this website about the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the website operator, Tierhotel Rhein-Main. The operator takes your privacy seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with statutory requirements. Because new technologies and the ongoing development of this website may require changes to this privacy policy, we recommend that you read it again at regular intervals. Definitions of the terms used (e.g. “personal data” or “processing”) can be found in Art. 4 of the GDPR.

Access data

We, the website operator or hosting provider, collect data about access to the website on the basis of our legitimate interests (see Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and store these as “server log files” on the website server. The following data are logged in this way: the page visited, the time of access, the amount of data sent in bytes, the source/referrer from which you reached the website, the browser used, the operating system used, and the IP address used. Server log files are stored for a maximum of 7 days and then deleted. Data are stored for security reasons, for example to investigate misuse. If data must be retained for evidential purposes, they are exempt from deletion until the incident has been finally resolved.

Collection and processing of personal data

The website operator collects, uses and discloses your personal data only where permitted by law or where you consent to the collection of data. Personal data means any information that serves to identify you and can be traced back to you – for example your name, email address and telephone number. You can also use this website without providing personal data. To improve our online offering, however, we store your access data relating to this website (see above) without linking them to you as an individual. Such access data include, for example, the file you requested or the name of your internet provider. By anonymising these access data, no conclusions can be drawn about your person.

Customer and contract data

We collect, process, store and use personal data only insofar as they are necessary for initiating, defining the content of, amending or handling a contractual relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures. Personal data relating to use of our website (access data, see above) are collected, processed and used only insofar as this is necessary to enable users to use the service or to bill for it. Customer data collected are deleted after completion of the order and termination of the business relationship. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected. For initiating, defining the content of, amending or handling a contractual relationship we collect, process, store and use the name, address, email address and telephone number of the respective contracting party. This processing of personal data is based on our legitimate interest in fulfilling the services contractually agreed with you as our contracting party.

Your rights as a user of this website

As a user of our website you have the right, upon request, to obtain free information about which personal data concerning you have been stored. You also have the right to rectification of inaccurate data and to restriction of processing or erasure of your personal data. Where applicable, you may also assert your right to data portability. If you believe that your data have been processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

Deletion of data

Unless your request conflicts with a legal obligation to retain data (for example data retention requirements), you have the right to have your data erased. Data stored by us will be deleted if they are no longer needed for their intended purpose and there are no statutory retention periods. If erasure cannot be carried out because the data are required for permissible statutory purposes, processing will be restricted instead. In that case the data will be blocked and not processed for other purposes.

Right to object

Users of our website may exercise their right to object and object to the processing of their personal data at any time. If you wish to request rectification, blocking, erasure or information about the personal data stored concerning you, or if you have questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data, or wish to revoke consent you have given, please contact us at the following email address: info@old.tierhotel-rhein-main.de
